#2 Hog Ring
A Hog Ring is a fastener in the form of an industrial strength staple with sharp beveled ends, which when crimped together, forms a diamond-shaped ring. Hog Rings are usually used in the automotive industry to attach the fabric of a seat cover to the seat frame. Originally, Hog Rings were used in the farming industry, put through the nose of a pig to stop it from rooting or to lead the animal.
